My Top 10 Blog Posts from 2021:
I was happy to continue writing in 2021. Over the years, I’ve become more aware of the kind of content that I post. Social media can be a praise-seeking platform where people craft their image and share their accomplishments. My focus has been to make sure that my posts deliver value. Sharing that I got a PR doesn’t improve anyone’s life in any way. I hope to share the stories of how I got there, both what I did right and what I did wrong along the way.
Below are 10 articles I wrote this year that were helpful to others. Mark Salgado’s training camp article and Conditioning for Boxing went viral on separate platforms. I enjoyed recapping my ultramarathons and marathon this year, even if my results were middle-of-the-pack and not PRs. I wrote about how I manage my time and balance fitness and work at the start of 2021. Although, I can say my views have changed after reading Four Thousand Weeks: Time Management for Mortals by Oliver Burkeman. I used to go through this exhausting and completely unrealistic exercise of mapping out all 168 hours of each week. I’m excited to write a follow up to that article in 2022. Finally, I wrote about other topics I found interesting, like the corruption that happened in the 2016 Rio Olympics and various thoughts I have on the state of food policy in America.
Hope you enjoy my articles!
