I used to follow a bunch of foodie pages before travel, trying to cram in more restaurants in a week than I eat out at in a year at home. That gluttony was once the focal point of visiting a new city – but I’ve come to realize how that just becomes a pointless, never ending chase for food. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This Europe trip, I managed a 24 hour, 21 hour, and 20 hour fast (just from being so busy), and still found some healthy places to eat, which really made me happy. But I also “let myself go” with croissants (post-workout, of course) and picked a few nice restaurants to eat at. It was a good balance of fasting/feasting: ? • Green Bowl/Avocado Toast ? (Lulu’s, Barcelona) • Frog ? legs/Escargot (Roger, Paris) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ • Rabbit Brain ? On Lobster/Steak Tartare On Bone Marrow/Prawn Ceviche (Suculent, Barcelona) • Pizzeria ? Poplare (Paris) • Afternoon Tea ?(Sketch Gallery, London) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ • Taquitos o Virutas de Bellota (Enrique Tomas, Barcelona) A post shared by Ian Cruz (@cbcboxing) on Sep 13, 2019 at 2:41pm PDT
