This week at Dreamland Boxing: • Happy birthday coach Royce! (12/23) • Welcome new coach Sarah who will be teaching the Thursday class at 6pm • @_amangoo stopped by for sparring • The raffle for 2 bikes to raise money for ring improvements will be held on Saturday at the Dreamland Coaches and Sponsors Lunch • The Dreamland Boxing team continues to train for our show on 2/16/19 ?: As always, by Brett Ostrowski • The gym will be closed on 12/24 and 12/25 • Happy holidays!

This week at Dreamland Boxing: • Training camp is coming together to prepare for our show on February 16th • The amateur team ran up Mt El Sombroso • We have two bikes that we are raffling and you can purchase tickets at the front desk: 1 for $5, 3 for $12, and 5 for $20. The contributions from this raffle will be used for ring improvements. The drawing will be held at our Coaches and Sponsors Dinner on 12/22/18 • The Dreamland Masters World Championships will be held in San Jose, CA in September 2019. Bangkok Half Marathon
Wow. My first night race wasn’t easy – still had to deal with the heat! The Bangkok Marathon is the biggest race in Thailand and attracted over 55,000 participants (across all distances) in 2015. The marathon starts at midnight, the half I did started at 2AM, and there are shorter distances that started after I finished. The start and end of the race is located on Sanam Chai (“field of prosperity”) Road in front of the Grand Palace (pictured in the background), the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and the Ministry of Defence. Sandra dropped a split decision to eventual champion Olivia Hendrickson• Four are entered for the Caballero show on 12/1• Angel Chavez (@_angellchavez) came by for sparring• Vicky Zhao (赵倩月 Vicky Qianyue Zhao) came back for sparring• The gym will he closed on Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving
